A few little events...

I have truly had such an exciting past two or three months, I suppose I waited for quite a while to blog again so I would have loads of material. Aka not becoming boring, which I am but merh. On the 9th october, I attended the Radio1 teen awards and it was veritably good. No one really stood out for me except Ed Sheeran maybe because the whole room was silent when he sang. But it was still a nice occasion. To be honest, it's the same every year but with different (Mostly overrated) artists. But I got to the front and got a few hugs off people so I'm happy with that really.
On Tuesday 1st November, I went to see Jessie J at the Hammersmith Apollo. It was brilliant, and I am amazed at how she sings live each and every time she performs. Her voice is truly beautiful, and after that I am now an even bigger fan. I'm wishing her the best in a journey that can only guide her upwards. My favourite songs by her are Nobody's Perfect and Who You Are. I was (And still am) jealous of the girl who got to go up onstage and sing with her. Also, 'Who you are' is now one of my favourite songs, and I am consistently watching the video I took of it live. Simply stunning.

I also won tickets to go to the X-factor live shows for 'Movie week'. I queued for absolutely hours but the tiresome wait proved worthwhile. Whilst standing in a line for the toilet (How attractive I might add), Craig and Marcus ran past. They seemed almost in awe, as they weren't aware we were there and said Hey. Also waved and said hi to Olly Murs, was within touching distance of him. And I embarrassed myself on national TV, how fun. All in aid of being noticed by Gary Barlow. It was a fun night, I'd love to go again if Gary gets confirmed as a judge next year. I very much wanted to attend the final, as I was offered a ticket by a friend but was unable to attend.
Also, how well have Tottenham been doing in the premier league? We are third with a game in hand above both Arsenal and Chelsea. Currently the team of London at the moment. This is brilliant, minus that loss to PAOK and us crashing out of Europa but I think Harry is focusing on a Top 4 finish more importantly. The team is consistent, on form and scoring the all important goals needed. Can't fault them at all. Clean sweep for us, with Scott Parker and Harry Redknapp being named both Manager and Player of the month for November. Consistent wins, despite a loss at stoke last week, we need to keep this up if we want a decent position. Keep it up lads!
Third with a game in hand!

On the Saturday night before GB-RAH, I attended the Capital Jingle Bell Ball. It was honestly better than I was expecting it to be-Olly Murs was fantastic and I now like him a little more. Jason Derulo and Pixie Lott are quite average, and I had saw them already.

I still can't get over the fact that Labrinth plays the guitar!
He also has a brilliant voice. The night was rounded off with a very showy (Abit flat) performance by Rihanna. The performer we had all been anticipating, yet she was verging on awful. The Wanted stood out for me. I'm considering going to see them in London next March. It was a brilliant night compared to what I was expecting, and the night I was going to have on the Monday...
And the Monday 5th December arrived, it was the day. Unfortunately I had to attend college, where I remained unfocused throughout the day until 4pm. It was only for Gary Barlow RAH -Insert Sarcasm-. After a long, nearly delayed journey I arrived at Kensington at the Royal Albert Hall. The hall is absolutely stunning, and I insisted on taking a picture to show this.

The concert was absolutely fantastic, with Gary delivering as usual. Also, added with a little of his remarkable dry humour. Opening with 'Greatest Day' and going into 'Reach Out,' it was truly a night to remember. Before Monday, I didn't particularly like 'Could it be magic' but now I like it a bit better after Gary performed it 'Beautiful World style'. The memorable night was added to by many things, such as he done the 'Pray' dance not once but TWICE and treated us to a medley of 'I'd wait for life,' 'Lie to me,' 'Love ain't here anymore' and 'Forever Love'. #loveit. Following the interval, a crowd of middle aged fans surged forward and to the side as he strode through them, attempting to sing 'Everything Changes' meanwhile. Barlow basically got molested, even by men. His brilliant performances of 'Nobody Else' and 'patience' were brilliant and had the audience on their feet within seconds. The first guest, was LuLu of course, as they sang 'Relight my fire' together. 'I swear she gets younger everytime I see her?' He joked. The second guest was Jason Donovan, singing one of his songs whilst Gary played the piano. Didn't really interest me but it was quite good. Then, Olly Murs came on and sung 'Shine'. It totally suited his voice. Mark Owen who? It was my second time seeing him in one week and I was incredibly #excited. Marcus Collins was ill, so we weren't given a song from him although the Tuesday audience were.

Sums up the night! 'Everything changes'
'This is the worst bit, I have to go now,' before 'Back for Good,' which has to be one of my favourite songs live, ever. I especially love it as the crowd chorus and it all comes together and we all feel united as fans. We were then suddenly introduced to 'Never Forget,' which I don't think I will ever forget. Meanwhile, a friend had called me and was mesmerised by how fantastic it all sounded. My seats were slightly at the side, and it was truly amazing seeing everyone else do the arm movements, Which of course look like this in case you didn't know:' \o/ '. My highlight of the night was probably Gary singing 'Rule the world' and 'Patience'. I am totally in love with the way he introduces Patience 'This was the song that brought us back after all these years'.That was only my second 'Proper' concert and it will always be the best. Honestly a fantastic musical experience that I would love again!
Thanks for reading...

GARY BARLOW

I love him even more now, haha!
21st october: I usually wait for a lot to blog about but this amazing moment has to be blogged about! I met him one month and seven days ago, and then he follows up with a tweet. Also, it's exactly one month until the Progress Live DVD is released and the CD will follow a week later, as it has just been announced.

Honestly can't wait!!
Gary Barlow tweeted me one simple word followed by two x's. I was trying to get my friend Hayley noticed but then he replied to that and then to Hayley. So simple but it made me so happy, what is even better is that I wasn't even expecting it. 'Hi xx' will be the best tweet I have ever ever received. That is all.

Radio 1 and happenings.

Today was possibly the best morning I have had in my entire life and I can honestly not even put words into a logical sentence at the moment, at how I feel at having met my favourite singer and favourite person, and also the added bonus of meeting two other people. Words that could come close to describing are excitable, amazement and happiness with what occurred in today's events, despite my actually having to leave at 5:30am. I unfortunately seriously overestimated how many people would turn out for Mr Barlow, so I ended up there an hour and a half before he was even due to arrive. I don't know what it is with London and not having (m)any public toilets, I was trailing around looking for one for about an hour.
Love the shoes!

And with great anticipation, I arrived at Radio1 and there were only around 20-30 people there to greet him, each time a car passed, we would stare just to see if it was possibly him. And eventually he arrived. He was looking gorgeous as usual, but I simply fell in love with the shoes he was wearing, they were actually beautiful and I was actually the first person to point this out. Believe it or not, noone screamed or shouted, he simply made his way across and we requested either a picture, signature or even both. I don't know what it is with TV, but it does actually make people look taller, Gary is actually really small. I deeply regret not bringing my songbooks for him to sign, but maybe something for next time, but I did get an autograph and I was pretty happy with that to be fair.

Everyone always comments on how nice and genuine Gary is, and I have to confirm that it is actually an untrue rumour. He is MUCH nicer than anyone could even describe, generally lovely, making general conversation and joking about his cock-up on Sunday, 'I been singing that song for 15 years and I still ballsed up the lyrics'. He is so relaxed and chilled, which could possibly explain why he is so late these days, just laid so back but of course he'll always deny it.
OOPS, I blinked ;)
As I handed him the envelope with my letter and all the messages from my followers for him to read, he replied:
"Oh, is that for me. Thank you very much, would you like a picture?'
Honestly such a gentleman and was that even a question, I was literally shaking as I put my arm round him, it was honestly one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. I say arm, but tragically I only touched his shoulder but close enough for me! I seriously want to meet him again. Just my luck for him to slightly blink in the picture, but he still looks absolutely adorable and I know what colour his eyes are anyways. Does he look dark or what though, he's usually SO pale. I'm so upset that I can't go to CIN rocks, coldplay, snow patrol, gary, lady gaga but I suppose it is time for London to stop taking the headlines every year and for the show to return to his hometown.

It didn't stop there though, we heard from Chris that Pixie Lott was coming so we decided to stay for awhile longer. She was honestly so pretty, looking beautiful and even had a sharpie ready to sign autographs for people.
BIGGEST flirt!
The next surprise was Oritse Williams, 1/4 of JLS. As he arrived, we could literally smell him, and he smelt divine, he's also a big flirt (Gotta love it!). I was hugging him for like a minute before it actually got creepy. He looks absolutely stunning in real life, yet it's Aston and Marv who get all the attention from JLSters. Anyway, he smelled beautiful and had to run off quickly in another direction.

This brilliant morning will actually be the highlight of my year, meeting three singers before 10AM in the morning. Not many people can say they have actually done that! I actually want to meet Gary again, without the restriction of the barrier. It was an amazing couple of hours and I also met Chris Moyles and caught a glance of Vernon Kay, as he hared into the studios.

TODAY THIS WAS THE GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

My past 2-3 weeks

I've had a brilliant couple of weeks, I love weeks like this where you have so much to do and you just love your life so much! I mean, next week I will be either crying or wanting to just go out, get wasted and burn all my books and folders from the past two weeks. This week I went to the Xfactor twice, mainly to see the GORGEOUS Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland strutting their stuff at the press launch. Below (Not my photography) is a picture of the fabulous judges at the Press Launch yesterday, they were over two hours late and took an hour to travel down the red carpet apparently.

I don't mind though, because the interviews they conducted were true and honest. Gary was looking stylish with his purple shirt and his waistcoat along with the girls, who were looking like total divas. After the long wait while they took their pictures etc, I was then REFUSED entry to the screening, but everything's still good- I'm going to try and get some priority tickets to the Xfactor live shows. I have never really liked Xfactor, but this year I just can't get enough of the show! (And Mr Barlow!). In December, I might even cry because he won't be on TV every Saturday and Sunday.

Edited on 27th August 2011(Written on Friday 19th August)
Either way, I had a ticket to Bootcamp the next day so I prepared because there was a forecast of torrential rain. And like a genius, I didn't decide to bring an umbrella with me! Due to my all-nighter the night before, I was convinced that I would actually be able to sleep that night as I lay in my bed at 10pm, but still at 1am I was staring at the ceiling wondering why my body had not given in to obvious tiredness. So up I jumped out of bed and on the laptop, where I skype until 6AM before I got ready, as I was to meet my friend at 7:30AM.
When you are not in a rush the Metropolitan Line decides to run efficiently, arriving exactly as you step on the platform, you're probably thinking 'Well that is good timing' but it wasn't, I ended up at Wembley arena at 7:38AM. Bootcamp's doors were due to open at 11AM.

In the first 100 for X-Factor Bootcamp!
I LOVE how they put all those metal fences up to keep the queue in but when you arrive first, you are literally going around and around and around and around until you eventually die of tiredness and want to dive head-first toward the floor. And you're not allowed to sit down-brilliant. This was getting better and better by the minute. I Then got involved in an overly petty argument that I had jumped the queue, which of course I HAD, but I wasn't going to have a fight over this with saddos who had queued there since 6AM. This picture shows the utter brilliance of being the first in the queue and all the thousands of people behind you, and what a matter of half an hour can make to where you sit in the Arena. It was an anything but 'Nice' wait as the puffy grey clouds above us looked set to give us a month's rain. But it didn't, and we arrived into Wembley safe and dry. Wembley Arena really need to sort out their policies though, I was one of the first hundred in and I got quite bad seats while the latecomers received seats RIGHT in the paths of the judges. Jealous much!
I wasn't in the mood  to complain so I settled down to the acts and enjoyed my day thoroughly and I actually didn't manage to fall asleep, despite having had one hour sleep in the two days. I particularly enjoyed Goldie Cheung (Yes she somehow made it to the end of bootcamp!), although I didn't have a clue who she was then because the first episode of the X-Factor wasn't to air until the Saturday coming. This amazingly blurry picture  to your right shows what happens when you want more than just a hug with Gary Barlow! Yes, I did nearly get kicked out for taking this picture!
The people waiting for the afternoon session however, didn't have much luck, as a month's worth of torrential rain poured on them as they waited in the cold and wet. Honestly, I've never felt as sorry as I have for those ten thousand people in my life, except for Arsenal fans getting slaughtered 8-2 by United, I will comment on this later. I may have been tired, but Roycey (Follow him!: @officialroycey) and his constant joking and laughing was the only thing keeeping me awake. Trust me you will see him on your TV screen pretty soon, if you haven't seen him on the Xtra Factor already!

On Thursday 25th August, I was one of the 750,000 teenagers who actually got out of bed before 9AM this summer and arrive at school to collect the two pieces of paper which would have such a massive effect on the rest of our lives and anything we wish to do in the next four years. Twelve years of mainstream education, which had all built-up to this one tense day that could make or break you! It didn't help that it was pouring with rain, my mum was to open my envelope and that I had hardly missed any of the 350 people in my year. But anyway, I was up bright and early to listen to Mr Barlow on The Chris Moyles Show, which of course brightened up my day before it had even begun! And in the rain, I was off to collect my GCSE results. I am not looking forward to A-Level results day ATALL, it will be twice as bad as the gut feeling I had on that day. Well, I gave it to my mum and she thankfully screamed with happiness. #WIN These two bits of paper are what made sure I got into Sixth form and hopefully gets me into uni.

GCSE results, my school are so cheap they printed over the bottom #fail
Enough of me constantly talking about how gorgeous Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland are and everything to do with my life and daily occurances, I will begin the topic of something I have been ashamed to be a part of for these past few weeks, yes I know half of my friends will already know what I'm talking about. Being a fan of Tottenham Hotspur. I honestly don't know how I have been able to watch my team get absolutely HAMMERED these past two weeks, it has been an incredibly embarrassing couple of weeks for most London teams. The only thing within football I am particularly elated by, is that my second team Liverpool have been on brilliant form at the moment. Suarez especially, he's scored every game! But anyway, back onto tottenham, we have conceded 8 goals and scored 1 in two games. You know you're in trouble when a centre back scores the first goal of the season at home! It's heartbreaking when you log onto the team's website and have to witness this:
"I'm here to score goals" - well I would bloody hope so!
I have always hated Manchester City and words are simply not enough to explain how much of a burning passion I have for the club and any supporters I am not friends or acquaintances (Excuse the spelling) with. We have Liverpool next week, which again probably means we are going to lose and stay in a nice comfortable 20th place, with 0 points from a possible 9. After today's game I stated to my mum that Tottenham and their fans need to go hide in a dark corner for preferable for next month, that was of course before I saw the Manchester United-Arsenal game. After last week's disaster with liverpool, I was expecting a decent victory but not an 8-2 mauling. It almost looked as though Arsenal were allowing them to put the ball in the back of the net. Match of The Day 2 tonight shall be highly entertaining, 20 goals in just 4 games! I don't think that feat has been achieved for YEARS. Highly embarrassing, and I wouldn't be suprised if I see in The Sun tomorrow that Arsene Wenger has been sacked. It is currently Bank Holiday Sunday, and I am looking forward to what is possibly my last lie-in before I go to enroll at Sixth Form on Tuesday and begin my journey into the world of work.

Recent events and the coming season

If Sunday's community shield match at Wembley is anything to go by, looks like Manchester City will be in for a shocking Premier League season, as they squandered a 2-0 lead against football giants Manchester United. I cannot express the utter distaste I have at the mentality of the owners of City, this 'I have millions so I can buy the title,' - the same attitude Roman Abromavich had but look where Chelsea have ended up. United may be in debt, but at least they are winning titles, buying and selling within the transfer market and also giving new talent such as Ashley Young a chance to shine. As much as I have always liked Ashley Young, I think he stands out more as "Aston Villa's winger" rather than "Just one of those players at Manchester United" but he was drawn in by the prospect of higher wages, actually WINNING a trophy and having to fight for a place in a highly talented squad. Despite this, as the seasons go on, I am beginning to lose interest in football as the game lacks the passion and drive previously displayed, and instead becomes more money-orientated and players taking their eye off the ball too often (I.E their social life). Not for me to make a judgement, but I really do believe that the game has almost become alike a reality show

Before I comment anymore on my predictions for the season, I will actually have to look into the squads and how I predict each team is going to fare this season. I am also thoroughly surprised at the decision NOT to postpone Tottenham's first game of the season against Everton on Saturday, although Tottenham High Road is barely recognisable after the rampage which took place on the streets on Saturday, as the picture below shows.
Us as a club have a brilliant prospective season ahead of us, qualifying for the Europa league this year and finishing just below the top 4. However, with Liverpool's recent strengthening of their squad, I do believe they are in with a chance of making at least the top 5 this coming 2011/12 season. As a Tottenham fan myself, I am concerned for children, the less able and women around being this area, just incase trouble does occur again. It is simply too dangerous to have 35k+ of people milling around the streets, at risk of minor injuries. Also, the police force has been stretched to it's limits and does not need the problem of rowdy football fans, although this seems to only be a minority of fans. I mirror Harry Redknapps view about recent events in Tottenham as 'Appalling' but I admire his faith in the community and I am wishing him the best in the coming season, (And crossing my fingers he doesn't get offered the England job!)

FINALLY I manage it!

I'm new to this so bare with me. God, after over a week of trying to figure out how this Blogging thing works, I'm finally typing and ready to update everyone and anyone on the opinions I have regarding current affairs and recent events which concern me. The topic of each post I put up may change, and all the opinions on this are my own. And so I begin...
